Barry M Gelly Nail Paint

OK. This is has probably been on trend and gone out of fashion already I dunno, I was never much of a trend follower. But I had a look in the Superdrug near me in the BarryM section and discovered this nude colour. I thought it would be a great colour you can wear with anything, just like nude shoes for example. I have seen the Gelly nail paints before but wasn't that interested because there weren't any shades that I didn't already have. UNTIL NOW :O The minty greeny colour (called Greenberry) is HOT, probably my favourite colour at the moment.
This is what the nude colour (called Lychee) looks like when applied as you can see it's not exactly 'Hi-shine as the bottle claims, but maybe the green will be a bit more shiny, I confess I haven't tried it out yet though...
In my personal opinion I'm not really fussed that it isn't really shiny because I kinda like the shine of the normal nail paints anyway, I just got them because of the pretty colours :]

My 'Everyday' Makeup ;)

Hey peeps!
Sooooo this is my natural everyday make up, it's pretty simple and I rarely use more than five products on my face. Oh yeah the reason there is a furry pal in the photograph..I laid down on my bed to take a photo and my little girly jumped up for a cuddle. It's only right she gets to be in the photo.. :)
BASICALLY I would much rather spend more time in bed if I have an early start, than get up with plenty of time to do make up. Bit lazy I know, especially for someone who actually likes make up...anyway. :|
These are the products I always use if I am going to be going to work or what I wore when I went to school:
I'm going to put in my normal moisturiser too which is Simple Oil Balancing.
Nivea Visage tinted moisturiser. THE BEST tinted moisturiser I have used so far, although to be fair I have only used about three different ones...If it ain't broke don't fix it! In other words I like this one so why go looking for another? It has the coverage that I want and if I do have spots I use my foundation as a concealer which is next.
Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. I will use this on any blemishes I may have unless I am in a rush in that case I just think. ''It's a spot, who gives a sheet.''
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. On a crazy whim I purchased this expensive foundation when I was having a skin crisis. I just use this for concealing under my eyes though. For me it is tooooo much to wear all over my face because it makes me look cakey. Most things make me look cakey, probably because my skin may be combination and I just use products for oily skin. Genius.
Maybelline Le Colossal Volum' Express mascara. Bit of a mouthful that. First of all I use an eyelash curler, I don't know what brand that is but aren't they all the same, then apply one coat of this thoroughly. Two coats and I get spider lashes. No thanks!
Last but NOT least powder. Rimmel pressed powder which cracked and is now loose powder sitting in a Dream Matte Moose container. If I don't use this I get SO shiny, this is a product I can't afford to forget to use.
BTW you can also watch a video of this, however the routine is a little different because I added a few things to spruce it up!

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation REVIEW :)

Hey everyone! This is my review on the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, even though this isn't a new product I felt like I wanted to do a review since I have been using this for over a year or so now. As you can see from the photo is has been well used...so sorry that the writing has worn off a bit but you get the idea :) It has an SPF of 15 which is important because the skin must be protected from the sun! It says that it adapts to skin tone and texture and gives a 'perfectly flawless finish'. We'll see about that...

This is my face BEFORE applying the foundation. As you can see it's not a pretty sight, I have acne scarring on my chin and cheeks and spots, especially the nice red one on my left cheek. Also dark circles under my eyes which need covering. Let's see if this foundation can help :)

So AFTER the application of the foundation (i used a brush to apply) it has brightened up my face a little. The scarring/spots on my cheeks have faded though are not completely covered. My dark under eye circles have been brightened also, however it hasn't made much of a difference in covering them. On close inspection the foundation doesn't look cakey or dry, though if you do have dry skin or spots that are drying up I would recommend using a facial scrub first to avoid a cakey appearance. I suppose with any foundation, especially a high coverage one, that you should exfoliate first. This foundation is great if you don't have a lot of blemishes to hide or dark circles under your eyes, this is a light to medium but build able coverage foundation. Overall I like this product and will continue to use it, my skin still looks like skin instead of cake which is always a bonus. A nice, natural finish and sheen :)
